Testing technology

Measuring characteristics of components, systems and of full vehicles is an essential necessity for the chassis development.

In order to determine non-linearities, complex interactions between single parts, multi-dimensional loads or weather effects, you need high-class testing methods.

With the help of our extensive testing infrastructure and our wide variety of road trials, we develop measuring methods, project specific approaches and benchmarks to combine the virtual and physical vehicle development.

  • Test benches:
    • Kinematic and compliance (K&C) test rig
    • Damper test bench
    • Vehicle Inertia Measuring Machine (VIMM)
    • Various tire test rigs
    • Servo hydraulic test center for the implementation of project-specific testing approaches
    • Dynamic shaker test bench (¼ vehicle, 4 poster)
  • Driving tests
    • Extensive measuring technique for driving tests
    • Implementation of standardized or customized driving tests
  • Test campaigns on common proving grounds (ATC, ATP, IDIADA, Lommel, etc.)
